Paul Schuyler is a highly experienced insurance professional with Freedom Dream Team, Inc., where he brings years of knowledge and a deep commitment to helping clients protect their hard-earned retirement savings. Known for his steady guidance and thoughtful approach, Paul takes pride in crafting personalized strategies that align with each client’s long-term financial goals.

Outside of the office, Paul enjoys quality time with his wife, their two children, and their white lab. On weekends, they often embark on RV adventures, and Paul stays active in the community by coaching youth soccer and football.

Makayla Montenegro

Operations/Client Services

Makayla Montenegro is in Client Services. Her job involves accounting, booking restaurants, overseeing seminar rotations, and more. She’s been working in this industry since college, and values keeping clients’ best interests in mind. Makayla is outgoing and funny, but very organized and responsible. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, traveling, and sports.

Samantha Smentek

Client Services

Samantha Smentek works in Client Services. Her job entails working with clients to handle any needs they have for their policies. Updates, withdrawals, allocation changes, etc. She also prepares the files for annual client reviews. Samantha previously worked from home, in an account management job. However, she began working with Freedom Dream Team, for the opportunity to both learn and help others learn important info. When not helping clients, though, Samantha enjoys traveling, as well as spending time with her family and pets.

Alisa Cagliari

Transfer Department

Alisa Cagliari is in the Transfer Department. She handles the application, transfer, and delivery processes. She’s had numerous jobs where she’s held similar positions. Alisa appreciates the streamlined simplicity and efficiency of Freedom Dream Team. She appreciates all that she’s learned by working with the company. When not working, Alisa enjoys doing DIY projects, hiking, and spending time with her dog, Mia.

Sierra Herrera

Front Desk Receptionist

Sierra Herrera is the front desk receptionist at Freedom Dream Team & FDT Wealth. She takes calls, transfers them to their appropriate departments, schedules appointments during seminars, and checks clients in both in the office and at seminar events. Sierra loves meeting, talking with, and connecting with our clients. It’s her favorite part of what she does.

She has family who work here too, and has admired the amazing work ethic and friendly environment of the office ever since she was younger. At Freedom Dream Team, we go above and beyond as a team to work towards clients’ goals, make the process as easy as possible, and ensure clients feel valued and welcome at all times.

Sierra is welcoming, a conversationalist, and hard-working. Before coming to work here, she worked at two swim schools as an aquatics manager and water instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and listening to music. She also volunteers as an assistant Volleyball coach for a 13U girls’ league.

Judith Loya-Mendoza

As our appointment coordinator, Judith Loya-Mendoza is responsible for scheduling appointments for clients and personal in-house meetings. She also handles confirmation calls, tracks appointments, and ensures our advisors are on time for their scheduled appointments/meetings. Judith is also in charge of seminars; she confirms the reservations and gets all the materials ready for the seminars, does the setup at the venue, and handles check-ins for reservations & books appointments at the end of those presentations. She also tracks appointments and follows up with clients who need reminder calls or rescheduling. She collaborates with the team to ensure seamless daily operations–Judith finds it satisfying to turn chaotic schedules into organized, efficient, and productive systems.

Judith is a problem solver, self-driven, loyal, very focused, and takes her job very seriously. She’s also open and easy to speak with, loves communicating with others, and always maintains a positive attitude. When not helping retirees, she’s probably taking care of her child. In her spare time, she also likes to crochet, work on house projects, and hang out with friends and family.
